We are very pleased to announce that we have appointed a new Technical Co-ordinator, Billy Wolf, and a second Administrator, Hannah Smith, who started this week!
We're very happy to be welcoming them into the team!
Wed Aug 1st 2012 / 3:39am / Evelyn I am brand new to alky stvoes. I have made some pepsi can stvoes and some bud light bottle stvoes and a supercat. I also purchased the white box solo stove. It came with the windscreen, heat reflector and a 4 oz plastic bottle with a flip top lid. (It is very nice). I was planning on doing the same as Joe and Lisa and marking the bottle. I was going to mark it on opposite sides. One side with the bottle setting upright and the other setting upside down (since it will be upside down while squeezing.)So that I can tell the difference I will write right side up each way, that way it won't be confusing (one side will always be upside down). I did not think of using the tape, but now that Ive read it, I can't think of why I didn't think of that. Great tip, thanks. My thing is trying to figure out how much I will need for sure. I'm not sure 4 oz will be enough for more than an overnight trip, unless Im really specific. I saw the 8 oz bottles at REI, but gosh they look so big. Especially when I'm trying to go smaller.....Has anyone used any of the Elmer glue bottles? I wonder how those orange caps would do? Just thinking out loud.....
