The Producer Farm is a joint initiative by Fuel, Bristol Old Vic Ferment, Dance Umbrella, In Between Time, and Coombe Farm Studios. After running for five successful consecutive years, the week-long residency for creative producers returns to Coombe Farm Studios in Dittisham (nearest train station is TOTNES), Devon in June 2021. The programme aims to provide time and space to consider your current work and future potential.
• Structured learning from inspiring professionals
• Dedicated time to reflect on and refresh your ideas & practice
• Networking and discussion with peers and senior industry professionals
• A beautiful rural environment, dedicated to growing creativity
Ten places to Producers based in the UK who:
• Have been working professionally in any field of contemporary performance for 10-15 years.
• Have a strong desire to expand their capacity and capabilities as creative producers
• Are excited by reaching audiences through the power and quality of new work
• Are open to new ideas and sharing with their peers
The residency is free, and participants will be provided with accommodation and all food. We want to ensure that the residency is accessible to all, and so if you consider the travel costs prohibitive to you taking part, please state this in your application so we can look at ways to provide adequate support.
Producer Farm is working towards ensuring equal access for all participants. Coombe Farm has steps, sloped access, and uneven ground.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss how we can support your participation.
We intend to run the Producer Farm at Coombe Farm Studios in accordance with the Covid19 secure UK government guidelines in place at that time. In the event that restrictions at the time prohibit us from doing so, the week will go ahead, with the selected speakers and participants, in a digital format.
Please send a short CV and the completed application form that can be accessed below. In the form, you should aim to demonstrate how you match the criteria and outline how this residency will benefit you and your future work. You will need to commit to the full week of the residency.
A panel consisting of representatives from the participating organisations will make the selection. The initial assessment of applications will be made based on track record to date, originality of thinking, potential for development, and rationale for attending. We are working towards fair and equitable access to ensure a diverse cohort of participants.
