Based on a short story by Carol Ann Duffy
Invisible was a contemporary fairytale in which a boy, following the death of his father, feels so ignored by his family that he becomes invisible.
Filmed on location on the west coast of Scotland, Invisible was a story of love and loss as a boy struggled to come to terms with his grief and with his mother’s new relationship.
It was also the debut film by award-winning theatre director Melly Still whose work includes From Morning to Midnight at the National Theatre and The Cunning Little Vixen at Glyndebourne.
Supported by the Jerwood Charitable Foundation and Cove Park.
Invisible received the generous post-production support of Twickenham Studios.
