Fuel presents Low Life
A man dances a love duet with a beer glass, a diva drinks to forget, Bud the plumber drowns behind the bar and Jack Belane, tiny private detective, totally screws up a case.
Taking the short stories and poems of Charles Bukowski as inspiration, they created an alcohol-soaked world of deadbeats and losers.
Fuel produced Low Life at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2007, followed by a UK tour and a British Council supported tour of China.
Developed at BAC and The Junction, Cambridge as part of Escalator. Funded by Arts Council England.
Shortlisted for a Total Theatre Award
