We’re recruiting a Senior Development Manager

Posted on: 20th January 2026

Fuel is looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Development Manager to join our team.

This new role will lead and manage Fuel’s fundraising function, working closely with our Artistic Director & CEO and Executive Director to deliver income across trusts and foundations, individuals and corporates. The Senior Development Manager will play a key role in supporting our programme of new commissions, tours and digital work, helping Fuel continue to collaborate with artists to make bold, surprising and inclusive live performance.

Founded in 2004 and led by Kate McGrath, Fuel is known for its pioneering producing model, deep relationships with artists, and commitment to creativity, curiosity, trust, representation, learning and sustainability. We work with artists from the earliest stages of ideas and produce work that reaches diverse audiences across the UK and internationally.

This is a full-time, permanent role (£40,000 FTE), with flexible and hybrid working options. We welcome applications from candidates based anywhere in the UK and actively encourage applications from people who are currently under-represented in the arts and fundraising sectors.

Deadline: 9am, Monday 23 February 2026
Interviews: Thursday 26 February 2026, Somerset House, London
