Three Sisters Composer Nominated for The Stage Debut Awards 2020

Composer Femi Temowo has been nominated for the Best Creative West End Debut Award at The Stage Debut Awards 2020 for his role as composer in Three Sisters at the National Theatre which ran from October 2019 to March 2020. Three Sisters was written by Inua Ellams and produced by Fuel and the National Theatre.

Femi formed part of Soweto Kinch’s quartet in 2002, with whom he won a Mercury Music Prize nomination, a BBC Jazz Award for Best New Group, and several MOBO awards. He has also collaborated with artists and musicians such as George Benson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Courtney Pine, The Roots, Omar, Roachford, Terri Walker, Amy Winehouse, Jason Robello, Eska Mtungwazi, Jean Toussaint, Don Blackman, and Michal Urbaniak. Femi Temowo was nominated for MOBO Award for Best Jazz Act in 2012.
